(32) It is reported that about 3000 東学党 near 安東 and several of other places are showing the attitude to attack our commissary of stores at 台寸 and 副官 sent therefrom for investigation seems to have been murdered by them yesterday so beside demanding 慶尚道観察使 through the Superintendent of 釜山浦 to take immediate steps against them asked 在京城公使 to demand Corian Government to instruct 慶尚道観察使 to send Corean troops for seizing chief marauders and preventing riot or else, our commissaries will be obliged to do so themselves.

釜山総領事ヨリ電報アリ
聞ク処ニヨレバ東学党ハ安東近傍ニ三千人 其他諸所ニ群起シ 在台寸我兵站部ヲ襲撃スルノ挙動 顯ハル 而シテ同所ヨリ状况視察ノ为メ派遣シタル副官ハ 昨日 該党ノ为メニ殺害サレタルモノノ如シ 故ニ釜山浦朝鮮官吏ヲ経由シテ慶尚道観察使ヘ照會シ 該党ニ對シ直ニ何分ノ處分アリタキ旨 請求シ 且ツ重立テル暴行者ノ逮捕方 及 暴民鎭撫ノ为メ朝鮮兵ヲ派遣スヘキ旨 慶尚道観察使へ訓令アル様 朝鮮政府ヘ請求アランコトヲ大鳥公使ヘ申シ遣ハシ置ケリ 然ラザレバ我兵站部ニ於テ逮捕 及 鎭撫方ヲ自ラセザルヲ得ザルニ至ルベシ
