1100 54th A (Message timed 141855) TENCHUNG One Burmese Rifleman said that he and another rifleman had been captured by the Japs at MYTKYINA some month ago and brought to TENCHUNG. He said that the Japs had killed two Englishmen about 12 to 15 days ago. He directed Col Greenway to a cornor of the city wall where he said the Englishmen had been killed. Two bodies were there. One of them had reddish hair not yet decomposed. Their hands tied behind their backs. Apparently their throat had been cut

二十時 第十一Ｇ/Ａ (十五日十五時十五分) 龍陵地域 第一師団：今日ナンチャンに入った同師団の巡視隊は三百のジャップの死体に出会った。巡視隊は次に五四一二番丘陵に行ったが、ジャップどもを見なかった。次に五三一〇番丘陵に行ったがそこでもニップどもを見なかった。ニップがいないか見るために仏塔の丘に行った巡視隊の報告によれば、ジャップたちは寺院の丘を経由して車止めの所まで引き返す途中だとのことだ。寺院の丘に航空隊の支援を要請する。行けばニップどもがいるに違いない。
